Linux Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Linux is a complete, copylefted UNIX clone for Intel
386/486/Pentium machines. It includes Emacs, X11R6, gcc,
TeX/LaTeX, groff, TCP/IP, SLIP, UUCP, the works.
If you want to look at a recent copy of the FAQ, there is a two-part
set of ASCII documents which you can read with this Lynx
hypertext browser or with your own favorite browser, like less.
I recommend the outside browser, as Lynx seems to have trouble
digesting large files and your document may take a few minutes
to load.

Another option is to look at the version in the info reader, which is also a
lot faster than getting at it through Lynx. To do this, hit <CTRL-Z> to
suspend Lynx. At the "bash$" prompt, type "info" to get into the reader,
hit <tab> until you are on the Linux FAQ, then hit <enter>. To leave the
Info reader, type "q" at any time. Other navigational keys can be learned
by typing "h" for help. To resume Lynx, after leaving info, type "fg" at
the "bash$" prompt and hit <enter>.
