         Abstract
          The author describes job burnout, which is receiving
          increasing recognition as a major problem for both
          individuals and organizations. He recommends incorporating
          the social-styles model as part of the analysis and
          treatment of job burnout. He argues that the social-styles
          model can provide new insights into the causes, symptoms,
          individual differences in responding to social support, and
          individual differences in communication patterns by
          individuals who are burned out. (7 References).
