Job Management Solutions for OpenVMS, UNIX, and NT

Contents of session covers, what is Job Scheduling in general and how does it
pertain to each of the various platforms.
What kind of control does Job Scheduling bring to the computing professional and
the systems operation group.
Examples and sample solutions range from a simple individual system to a complex
heterogeneous system using a LAN
and/or WAN.
Format of session, begins with definitions, computing needs and hurdles of
computing in a multiple platform
environment. Envolves into Scheduling approaches, potential job dependancies
and handy features. Ending with real
case examples. Of course, time for attendees to ask questions and request
indepth solutions is encouraged.
