As stated in the earlier resources, you should, by now, have collected a portfolio of newspaper and journal articles about Contemporary Business Issues. As such, you will be better informed to discuss and implement the ideas you have learned in this resource.

This area of study is entirely devoted to the reading, analysis, discussion and interpretation of a selection of quality newspapers and journals.

Having collected relevant readings and publications, make a list of points you see as:

• The key issues in general
• The relevance of these for the region in particular.
• The relevance internationally
• The relevance for your own enterprise.

You must annotate the various issues raised against the political, economic, social, technological, legal, institutional and competitive dimensions. Be sure you discuss where each issue has an impact- it could be in more than one field.

At the end of the module ask yourself what have been the six most significant issues so far as your enterprise is concerned, and how will the significance differ if at all in the short, medium and long term?

Write for a particular person rather than the great unknown.

Be accurate. Check that you are using the right word for the right job. Be sure to check your work thoroughly and be aware of its relevance.
